Micro-deposits, also known as trail-deposits, are small sums of money that are transferred online from one financial institution to another. These micro-deposits are typically less than $1.00 and are sent to verify that the added account is a valid and correct account.

To verify micro-deposits, you'll go to the account where the micro-deposits were sent and make note of the amounts. Then you will return to the sending financial institution and provide the micro-deposit amounts.

VeraBank uses micro-deposits to verify external accounts for funds transfers within Digital Banking and for funding new accounts opened online.
